HISTORY
After several years of discussion, the high school was split off of Dixie Junior College about 1963. For the first three years, it continued to be held in the same building on the northwest corner of Main Street and 100 South. The new high school campus was built in 1965 and 1966 and was first occupied in August of 1966.Following the division of the High School and College programs, Mr. Don Cameron became principal of Dixie High School and remained through the 1978-1979 school year.
