The text on the reverse side says:
Our High School Hoopsters won an easy victory
in our Division. At the tournament closing the season's
activities we were awarded the championship of the
State High Schools.
In consequence, wee were invited to attend the In-
vitational Meet held yearly by the University of
Chicago. At this tournament the Flyers first met the
Tennessee champions of Purdy, Tennessee. The score
was 36-20, in favor of Dixie.
The following day our team met the Stiver's High,
state champions of Ohio, the score ws 27-25, in our
favor.
Our third game was with Canton High, State cham-
pions of Illinois. This game we lost with a score of
19-15, but the Canton team that defeated us went
through to the final game in which she was defeated
by Ashland, Kentucky champions.
