Histories

Officers and Directors of the Washington County Historical Society (WCHS) are defined in the By-Laws of the WCHS. Nominated officers are presented and elected at the general membership meeting held on the last Thursday in January of each year. Directors are then appointed by the officers and together with the representatives of the constituent societies, form the governing board of the society.

We would like to encourage community members to become involved as members of the board.
