ZERAH PULSIPHER
(early settler in Hebron)
BIOGRAPHY
In the fall of 1831, Zerah became familiar with and joined the new Church of Jesus Crist of Latter-day Saints, along with many members of the Baptist congregation where he was a minister. He was ordained an Elder and went preaching at home and abroad. Among his converts was Wilford Woodruff on December 31, 1933.In the fall of 1862, Zerah moved from Salt Lake to Shoal Creek where some of his sons had been sent to tend cattle. He was very instrumental in building the town of Hebron.
Zerah died in Hebron on January 1, 1872.
