BIOGRAPHY

Elizabeth L. Snow was born May 20, 1900 in Pine Valley, the daughter of Frank Snow and Effie May Harrison Snow.

She attended elementary school in Pine Valley but graduated from two years of college at Dixie College. Later took her bachelor's degree from B. Y. U. She taught School for thirty five years, most of the time in junior high school, but spent the last fourteen years as librarian at Dixie College.

Elizabeth died May 28, 1985 and was buried in the Pine Valley Cemetery.


FAMILY

Elizabeth married Vere Beckstrom on October 26, 1934 in Pine Valley.

Vere was born October 13, 1897 in Pine Valley, the son of Peter Ephraim Beckstrom and Emma Marian Bracken Beckstrom.

They had two children, a son in Pasadena, California and a daughter who lived in Cedar City.

Vere died in St. George on June 29, 1979.

Elizabeth is a granddaughter of Jane Fryer Jorden Harrison and daughter of Effie May Harrison Snow.

Elizabeth is the sister of Linna Snow Paxman and Bessie Snow.

Elizabeth had a daughter, Gwin Beckstrom Winn.
