HISTORY

This building is an example of the first type of permanent building constructed by the early settlers. Each settled lot had one and all were constructed to the same specifications in a mass production program.

These buildings served as a "home" while the real home was constructed. Later, the adobe buildings (or granaries) were used for storing food and other items.
