Miles Romney came to St. George in 1862 and built this house shortly thereafter.He sold this house to John P. Atkin.
Lucile Pitchforth bought the house and the family still lives there. Herbert is the current occupant.
BIOGRAPHY
Miles Romney Miles Romney came to St. George in 1862. He was a designer and builder. He was the assistant architect for the building of the St. George Temple. He also helped to build the Tabernacle.John P. Atkin died and left a wife and two daughters, Abbie and Annie.
