BOOK

"Dixie Saints: Laborers in the Field"

by Douglas D. Alder

This book is based on the interview of 485 pioneers who lived in Dixie from 1880 to about 1930.
It describes the village life of that period, much of it in their own words.

The interviews were recorded between 1968 and 1970. The tapes were given to Dixie College
around 1987 and were transcribed between 1993 and 2013.
