DIXIE HELL CATS

Dixie Junior College,   St. George, Utah

HISTORY

The Hell Cats were a group of enthusiastic fliers attending Dixie Junior College. They were part of a government-sponsored reserve pilot training program. It gave students the opportunity to achieve their dream of flying and provided a supply of trained pilots who would be available if needed to help defend their country.

After a student made his first solo flight, the held a party to celebrate.
